Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Catalyst Hunt platform ("Service"), operated by Catalyst Hunt ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("User," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Catalyst Hunt is an AI-powered biotech equity research platform that aggregates, synthesizes, and analyzes publicly available data from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), ClinicalTrials.gov, and other public regulatory sources. The Service provides:

  • Flash Notes: Near real-time AI-generated summaries of material SEC filings and clinical trial updates.
  • Deep Audit Dossiers: Comprehensive AI-generated investment research reports synthesizing historical filings and clinical data.
  • Company Watchlists: Curated monitoring of biotechnology companies.

3. Not Financial Advice

THE SERVICE IS AN INFORMATION AND DATA SYNTHESIS TOOL ONLY. Nothing on this platform constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other sort of professional advice. The Service does not recommend the purchase, sale, or holding of any security.

You acknowledge that:

  • All investment decisions are made solely by you.
  • AI-generated analysis may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.
  • Past regulatory filings and clinical data do not predict future outcomes.
  • You should consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

5. Account Registration

You must create an account via a supported OAuth provider (Google, Apple, or Microsoft). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

6.1 Plans

Access to certain features requires a paid subscription. Subscription plans, pricing, and entitlements are described on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time.

6.2 Billing

Payments are processed through Stripe. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges to your payment method. All fees are in U.S. dollars and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.

6.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the account portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Service.
  • Redistribute, sublicense, or resell any content generated by the Service.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including insider trading or market manipulation.
  • Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or access controls.
  • Misrepresent AI-generated content as human-authored professional research.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and AI models comprising the Service are owned by or licensed to the Company. AI-generated reports provided to you are licensed for your personal or internal business use only and may not be redistributed commercially without written permission.

9. Data Sources and Accuracy

The Service aggregates data from public sources including SEC EDGAR and ClinicalTrials.gov. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but:

  • We do not guarantee the completeness, timeliness, or accuracy of any data.
  • Source data may be delayed, incomplete, or contain errors from the original provider.
  • AI analysis is probabilistic and should be independently verified.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR INVESTMENT LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in The Hague, the Netherlands.
